DEAN, Colleen (nee Moore), 78 years - In loving memory of Colleen Dean who passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, September 5th, 2009. Daughter of the late David Moore and the late Ethel Moore. Treasured wife of Keith Dean; they were married for 56 years. Loving mother of Gary Dean (Germaine) and Brenda Taylor (Peter). Cherished grandma of Jennifer Hall, Mathew Dean, Brennan Dean, Bradley Taylor and Bridgette Taylor. Colleen is predeceased by her sisters Davina Stock, Frances Carscadden and Eleanor Groom. Born and raised in Sudbury, Colleen attended Sudbury High School where she met Keith. She went on to complete a 2 year Secretarial Program at the Sudbury Business College and worked for Prudential Insurance and later at a medical office. Colleen always loved children and after raising her own, spent years providing child care for others. During this time she developed a special bond with the family of Seija Binmore and her boys Patrick, Eric, Mark and David. Colleen will be especially missed at the Penage Lake-where she spent her summers since she was 9 years old. Memorial Visitation at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Memorial Service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel on Thursday, September 10th, 2009 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium.
