DESJARDINS, Claudette Hervina (née Goudreau) - 1938-2009. The family announces with sorrow her death, Sunday, July 12th, 2009, at the West Nipissing General Hospital, Sturgeon Falls, after a long and courageous battle against cancer. Daughter of the late Gérard and of the late Lucienne (née Bernard) Goudreau. Loving mother of Marcel Desjardins of British Columbia, Sandra Trottier (Kim) of Sturgeon Falls, Carl Desjardins (Diane Thomas) and Linda Imbeau (Luc) both of Brampton. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Christopher, Jennifer, Troy, Courtney and by her great-granddaughter Elecksa. Dear sister of Yvonne Bois (late Gerry) of Copper Cliff, Roger Goudreau (Jean), Gaetanne Lynds (Boyd), Gérald Goudreau (late Cathy) all of Sudbury, Jeannine Bladow (late Marlin) of California and Charles Goudreau (May) of Skead. Predeceased by her brother John Goudreau (Cécile of Hanmer). Family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, July 18 2009, after 10:30 a.m. in La Résurrection Church, Sturgeon Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Donations to the North Eastern Ontario Cancer Research Center would be greatly appreciated (cheques only).
