DOUGLAS, Larry Lloyd

(September 12, 1948 – May 22, 2020) In loving memory of Larry Lloyd Douglas who passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on Friday, May 22nd, 2020 after a fall at his residence. Special son of Lloyd and Ivy Douglas (nee Hughson) both predeceased. Dear brother of Sharon Gifford (predeceased) and Patricia Douglas. He also leaves behind several relatives. Larry has been a resident of Christian Horizons Home for approximately 10 years since the closure of Huronia Regional Centre in Orillia. The amount of love and attention that was given to Larry by their wonderful staff is immeasurable. A special thank you goes out to the staff at House 6, House 7 and the Day Program who were like Larry’s “Family”. Thank you to the Palliative Care Team and Bayshore nurses. There will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with interment in the Civic Cemetery at a later date. Donations to Christian Horizon would be appreciated.
