The world has lost an amazing man. It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Donald Drouin on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the age of 65.
Beloved partner and best friend of Manon Giroux. Cherished son of Georgette (Tremblay) Sinclair and of the late Maurice Drouin. Survived by his children Lindsay, Pamela, Catherine and by 8 grandchildren. He is also survived by his cherished brother and 3 sisters. He was very passionate about his work in the sawmill industry and the people, where he served for 45 years. Don will be remembered for his class, sense of humor and his ability to listen and mentor. Especially to Ryan and Riley Giroux who looked up to him who he admired.
Don loved to travel and meet new people where he enjoyed the culture. When he wasn’t on an adventure with his best friend, you could find them at the lake house enjoying life in the company of their 3 fur babies.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Saturday, January 21, 2023, after 1:30 p.m. followed by a service in the chapel at 2 p.m. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
