The family announces with sorrow, the passing of Ed Dupuis at the Maison McCulloch Hospice.

His long and courageous battle with cancer ended on January 20,2023 with his loving family by his side.

Beloved husband of 38 years to Laurie Dupuis. Cherished Father of Jordan Dupuis and Leah Dupuis (Ryan Beddows). Grandfather of Makayla Specht and Danyka Beddows. Dear son of Carmen and Normand Dupuis (predeceased), and son-in-law to Janet Gibson (predeceased).

Treasured brother of Roland Dupuis, Denis Dupuis (Leigh Reed), Rudy Dupuis, Lise Dupuis, and Diane Aubin (Ray). Will be missed by goddaughter/niece Crystal Dupuis, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and fur babies (Kitty and Freya).

After working at the Sudbury Star for many years in advertising, he obtained a career through MSC lndustrial, taking pride in everything he did. During his time in both careers, he made a very positive impact on the team members, the customers, and the companies as a whole. Ed was involved in a variety of charities, in which he was very passionate about. He was the type of person to help everyone around him, and never ask for anything in return. Ed loved challenging himself and put all of his effort into the things he loved, such as obtaining first degree black belt in karate, winning national 1O-pin bowling competitions, and achieving first place in many high-level soccer tournaments. He was involved in many sports: soccer, baseball, golf, karate, and line dancing, and loved watching hockey games while cheering on the Habs. Ed appreciated many things in life, especially good food, and always thanked the cook (Laurie) for a delicious meal. Many great memories were made with friends and family at his favourite place, camp on Cache Lake. lt was a sanctuary where family and friends could enjoy their time relaxing by the lake, cruising around on the pontoon boat, and ending the day with laughter around the bonfire. He had a big passion for music. Whether it was listening to country music, or jamming on the drums during the band jams at camp.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gopalakrishnan and the staff at the Cancer Centre, Dr. Piliotis, Dr. Dhatt, and the fourth floor oncology staff at HSN for their kindness and compassion through his long battle with cancer. A very special thank you to Maison McCulloch Hospice. From the first day that Ed entered the hospice, until his final day, the compassion and end-of-life care was outstanding.

Ed was a man whose positivity and selflessness knew no bounds. He always put others first and was the most strong-willed and considerate person we have ever known. He was a true "Superman" who will be missed by many.
