It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the heartbreaking, unexpected passing of Giovanni Falvo, age 49 on Friday, January 13th, 2023, in Sudbury, Ontario.

Treasured son of Benito and Natalina (Raso) Falvo. Cherished fiancée of Leisha Sharko of Garson, son-in-law she "always dreamt of" to Sandra Sharko. Father of long - lost but found Brittany-Anne Nightingale (James). Loving, protective big brother of Eva (Natale), Laura (Gregorio), and Gilbert (Nadia). Favourite, fun-loving uncle to Ivana, Dante, Francesco, Luca, Alex, Adamo, and Angelo. And adoring Nonno to Charlotte, and Jack....

Giovanni wasn't just a mason. He was an artist. He was dedicated, and passionate about his work...striving for perfection with every build...

As the first-born son, he absolutely worshipped his close relationship with his parents. He eagerly awaited family celebrations, where he was the life of the party, and the glue of the family. Never missing the opportunity to critique any foods, even though he would never dream of attempting to cook them himself. When he wasn’t working, Giovanni looked forward to his Friday night poker nights with the boys, having coffee with his "chums", and traveling the world with his best friend, prized possession, and love of his life, Leisha...

Giovanni Falvo was the sweetest, purest, genuine, gentle soul we'll ever have known. He will forever be missed by us all...
