FARRANT, Roland - It is with great sadness the family announces his death in Perth, Western Australia, Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband for 62 years of Pamela (née Hepburn) Farrant of Perth. Loving father of Warwick (predeceased), Guy of Perth and Harvard of Sudbury. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Cameron Farrant of Melbourne, Rosemary and Malcolm Farrant of Sudbury. Predeceased by his brothers John, Athol and Frank. Missed by many relatives and friends. Roland was a professor of Psychology at Laurentian University for 22 years. He enjoyed his retirement gardening, going to the beach and being a member of the Humanist Society. There is nothing Roland loved more than to tell a joke.
