In loving memory of Donna Mae Foley (nee McBride). Born on August 28th, 1951 to her loving parents Doris and Ian “Joe” McBride both predeceased of Smiths Falls, Ontario.

She passed away peacefully in the presence of her beloved family on Saturday, February 4th, 2023 in Sudbury, Ontario.

Devoted wife of William Foley in a wonderful, joyful and loving marriage of 47 Years. During difficult health and life challenges, she stood behind her husband with strength, courage, and love.

Beloved mother of Angela (Terry), and Ryan (Lindsay) who will miss her unconditional and ever-present love and empathy. 

Remarkably patient and cherished grandmother "GRAN" to Tyler, Chloe, Austin, and Bentley.

Dear sister to Paul predeceased, Norma (Ron), Faye (Andy), and David (Heather). Missed by many nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.

Donna was a kind and caring woman. She was the staple of her family. She was one of a kind, who touched a lot of hearts. Gardening and her flowers brought her much joy. She loved being involved with many organizations. She devoted much of her time at C.R Judd by sharing her passion for reading with students.

She was passionate about Capreol Minor Hockey. Devoting many years volunteering and cheering for the Capreol Hawks. During the years of her son and grandson, she would be found in the lobby for practices and games.
Donna was very clear that the best years of her life were marked by her grandchildren. Her unconditional love and support was something to be admired. She was always a phone call away with words of encouragement and wisdom.Deeply missed by her Canine Grand Babies Tim, Piper, and Evie.

Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home Hanmer/Capreol Chapel (4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer) on Thursday, February 9th, 2023 from 5-8 pm. A memorial service will be held at Trinity United Church in Capreol on Friday, February 10th, 2023 at 11:00 am. Friends may gather at the church on Friday after 10:00 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. There will be a celebration of her life and burial in Smith Falls this summer.
