In Loving Memory of Anna (nee van Groeningen) French 87 years Who passed away on Friday, June 4th, 2010 at the St. Joseph’s Villa to be reunited with her husband Bill in Heaven. Beloved wife of William “Bill” French predeceased. Loving mother of Lily Clarke (Ron) and Lucy Gregorini (Orio). Cherished grandmother of Christina Clarke, Terrence Clarke (Christina) and Matthew Gregorini (Keith) and great grandchild Alexandria. Dear daughter of Willem and Geesje (van Veer) van Groeningen predeceased. Dear sister of Piet and Alida and predeceased by Jan and Janse. Born in Holland, she came to Canada as a war bride with her loving husband Bill. Anna was a founding member of Calvin Presbyterian Church where she actively participated in the church’s ministries and fellowship. She had taught Sunday School, sang in the choir and attended the Women’s Association’s meetings and special events. She enjoyed bowling, camping, playing cards and crib. Anna was devoted to her family. She will be remembered as a woman of faith who lived the lessons taught by Jesus in being a good shepherd and Samaritan to all whom she loved and lived with. Memorial Service In the Calvin Presbyterian Church 1114 Auger Ave., Sudbury Monday, June 7th, 2010 At 2PM Cremation with interment in the Civic Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Calvin Presbyterian Church would be appreciated. Friends may gather at the church after 1PM Monday. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
