It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Linda Wuorinen (McParland) of Copper Cliff on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of 41 years to Allan Wuorinen (predeceased). Loving mother of Allan Jr. (Tammy), Michael (Kathy), Tammy McKeown (Daniel) and Elizabeth Koth (Dave). Cherished Nana of Victoria, Ryan, Sydney, Samantha, Shannon, Benjamin, Emily and Jordyn. Predeceased by her parents Ken and Theresa McParland. Dear sister of Sharon (predeceased), Danny (predeceased), Susan, Bev, Kim and Shirley. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews as well. Linda was born on July 2, 1949 in Pembroke, Ontario. She was a homemaker. Linda was fun-loving, kind-hearted and a sentimental soul. She loved life. She particularly loved music, dancing, arts and crafts, singing and especially loved celebrations with family and friends. Most importantly, she loved people, valued relationships and ended every conversation with “I love you”. She loved her family dearly. We are broken- hearted that we have to say good-bye for now, but her faith is testament for everyone who knew her, that she is reunited with our loved ones and is in the presence of God. We love you Mom, Sister, Aunt, Nana...until we meet again. A funeral service will be held in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch Street, Sudbury) on Saturday, August 21st, 2021 at 1pm. Friends may gather at the funeral home after 11 am on Saturday. She will be buried in the family plot in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation or Maison McCulloch Hospice would be appreciated.
