GAGAN, Evelyn Jeanne Marie (Mousseau) - Died peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elliot Lake July 2, 2010 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Calvin (1985). Dear daughter of John and Isabel (Morin) Mousseau (predeceased) and daughter in law of William and Agnes Gagan (predeceased). Much loved mother of Brent (1966) (predeceased), Ellen Phillips (Bob), Brenda Patrie (Dan), Patsy (1957) (predeceased), Daniel (Julie), Cheryl Phillips (Stan), Robert, Fred (Betsy), and Mary-Faye. Will be sadly missed by 25 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by 1 granddaughter Charissa (1987). Predeceased by her brother John Mousseau (Donalda), and sisters Patricia Falcioni (Toredo) and Helen Gattoni (Herbano) and sister in law Elaine (William). Survived by her sister in law Rose (Gagan) Pavlica and brother in law Ken Gagan. Special Auntie to numerous nieces and nephews and god-children. Dearly loved “MA“ to Karren and Darrell Rivers and neighbours Marg hembruff and Robert and Irene Hopkins. Evelyn was a devoted member of St. Francis Roman Catholic Church in Walford, a life member of St Francis of Assisi C.W.L. and Walford Womens Institute. She was the first women to join the Lions Club. For many years she has kept us up to date with her column in the Monitor. She received the Senior Citizen Volunteer Award in Recognition of her outstanding community service. She retired as Postmistress in 2002. “Ma Gagan“ will be sadly missed by relatives, friends and neighbours. Resting at the Walford Community Centre on Monday, July 5, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 10am from St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Walford with Fr. Al McMillan officiating. Interment in the Walford R.C. Cemetery. Donations to the Walford Community Centre or St. Francis of Assisi Memorial Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements by BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME.
