It is with heavy hearts the family announces the passing of Andre Gagne, 81 years on October 23rd, 2021 at the Maison McCulloch Hospice. Son of Albert and Alma Gagne (nee Paquette) both predeceased. Beloved husband of Joan (nee Cashmore) predeceased. Loving father of Michael Gagne (Monique), and Paul Gagne. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie Gagne and Andrew Tonin, and great grandfather to Alex Mifflin. Dear brother to Pauline Blair (Andrew), Adrienne Lachance, Clifford Paquette (Jacqueline), Roland Paquette (Therese), and Annette Jones (Oscar). Predeceased by his brothers Laurier, Raymond, Maurice, and sisters Denise and Suzie. In the mid sixties the Gagne family would travel with their horses to compete in competitions. In the early seventies, Andre ran his own business with his wife and sons. He would love to go to auctions and spend time with his sons. Andre was a long-time resident of St. Charles, where he lived with his wife Joan and two sons. He drove transport for many years for Fryer Forest Products. In the summer, Andre and Joan would pack up and go to the houseboat where they loved to stay. The Gagne family would like to thank the Maison McCulloch Hospice for their gentle and kind staff. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. A celebration of his life will be held in the near future.
