GERVAIS, Ernest Maurice

In loving memory of Ernest “Ernie” Maurice Gervais who passed away Friday, October 9^th, 2020 at his home at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Fleurette (Henri) Gervais. Loving father of Linda Sparks, Darlene Deagle, predeceased by Debbie and loving stepfather to Kenneth Calendino (Mai), Carmen and Kevin Calendino. Cherished grandfather of Samantha and Christopher. Dear son of Hormidas and Elsie Gervais both predeceased. Dear brother of Denis and Ednaand predeceased by Leonard, Clarence, Laurent, Juliette, and Therese. Born in Kapuskasing, Ernie worked at Falconbridge Nickel Mine for 33 years, retiring in 1990. He weas a member of the Elks Lodge, enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Ernie leaves a wonderful legacy of love and will always be remembered for his ability to bring a smile to everyone who knew him.

Funeral service in the R. J. Barnard Chapel, Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury on Saturday, October 17^th, 2020 at 11am. Friends may gather from 2-5pm Friday. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated.

Due to the COVID-19 directives, a maximum of 50 people will be allowed in the visiting room at a time and a maximum of 80 people in the chapel. Masks are mandatory.
