GERVAIS, Marcel Emery - It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Marcel of Midland on Friday, August 21st, 2009 at the Penetanguishene Hospital at the age of 60 years. Survived by his loving wife Anne, sons Timothy (Eva) and James, grandchildren Brandon, Joseph and Katherine. Survived by his sisters, Huguette (Lionel) Gauthier, Claudette (Terry) McWilliam, Louise (Leo) Gauthier, Angele Gervais, Joe-Anne (Gerard) Sirois; brothers George (Diane), Richard (Barbara), Michael (Laurel). Also numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Jeanne D'Arc (Pilon) and his sister Claire Gervais and his step-father Elphege Paiement. Visitation will be held at the NICHOLLS FUNERAL HOME, 330 Midland Avenue, Midland on Monday, August 24th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, August 25th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations to the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cancer Centre or charity of choice would be appreciated. A special thanks to all the nurses and health groups that provided special care to Marcel in the last 2 years of his life.
