The family announces with great sorrow his passing in Wahnapitae with family by his side, Friday, July 24, 2020 at the young age of 55 years. Predeceased by his parents Onil and Yvonne (née Landry) Goulet. Beloved spouse to France Filiatreault. Adored and loving father of Breanne Goulet. Role model and step-father to Cédric Simard. Left to cherish his dear brothers Gaëtan Goulet (Sylvie), Mike Goulet (Beth), and Neil Goulet (Colin). He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Life-long friends to Jennifer Goulet, Christine, Robert Grimaldi and their family.

Ronnie grew up in the small town of Geraldton, Ontario. He was a dedicated worker for Epiroc for over 20 years. He was a wealth of knowledge. Ron was selfless and always eager to lend a helping hand for those in need. He was a blessing to all his family and friends and will always be remembered for his kindness and positivity.

Ron cherished his weekends spent at Holiday Beach campground where he would be fishing, boating and enjoying a cold beer around the fire with friends. He was a devoted father who will forever cherish the memories they’ve made together. He was a man of success who has lived well, laughed often and loved so much. Although you may be gone, your soul is with us.

To all of those that think of me, be happy. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief but if others wonder why I’ve gone, just tell them I’ve gone fishing. In our hearts we hold a place that only you can fill. Rest easy Dad, until we meet again. We love you.
