GOWAN, George Hamilton - In Loving Memory of George Hamilton Gowan, 99 years of age, who passed away at Extendicare-Falconbridge on Monday, August 24th, 2009, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Violet (nee DiCarlantonio) predeceased December 12th, 2004. Loving father of Donald (wife Edith) both predeceased of Windsor, Richard (wife Judie) of Chelmsford, Murdock (wife Nenita) of Hamilton, Bob (wife Viviane) of Chelmsford and Debbie (husband Mike Bourgeois) of Chelmsford. Dear Papa of Alan, Don Jr., Cindy, Shawn, Danny, Linda, Sandra, Jennifer, Matthew, Vanessa, Allison, Angela, Trevor, Tisha, Robert and Eric. Also Papa to 14 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Dear son of the late Charles and Zelda (Draper) Gowan both predeceased. Predeceased by siblings Alpin, Bob, Truman, Lila and Elda. Survived by his dear sister Isabel of Ottawa. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful caring staff of Extendicare-Falconbridge.
