GROULX, Gerard

July 5, 2010 72

GROULX, Gerard - In loving memory of Gerard Groulx who passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 3, 2010 in his 72nd year, after a valiant battle with a lung disease. Gerry, or JB as he preferred to be called, was a retired INCO worker. He loved camping, fishing, woodworking, and was first at the scene whenever anyone needed a helping hand - no matter how big or small the job was. He will be lovingly missed by his dear wife Rolande (née Bruneau), their daughter Corinne of Ottawa, their son Omer (partner Richard) of Ottawa and their son Guy of Hanmer. He is survived by his very special grand children, Brodie, Justin, Jonathan and David. He is also survived by his sister Cécile Sicard (husband Gérard) of Elk Lake, sister Sylvia Courtemanche of Sudbury, brother John (wife Shirley) of Val Thérèse, and Laurier (wife Aurore) of Hanmer. Cremation and burial service to be held in Gogama, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sudbury Regional Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME. To light a memorial candle, flowers, donations or messages of condolences available on-line at www.lougheed.org
