In loving memory of Deanna June Hanson (nee Irvine), 80 years, peacefully, Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at Health Sciences North.
Beloved wife of Fred Hanson. Loving mother of Sue Pirt (Mario Blanchette) and Darryl Hanson (Ali). Cherished grandmother of Jason (Matt), Jessica (Matthew), Jon (Jessica), Jeremy (Michelle) and Tyler and great grandchildren Hayley, Benson, Lucas, Maley-Rose, Everleigh and Lilith. Dear daughter of Grace and Scotty Irvine, both predeceased. Special niece to Eileen and Bus Irvine, both predeceased. Dear sister of Bob Irvine (Debbie). Special sister in law to Doreen Sanders. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews.
Deanna enjoyed downhill skiing, camping and golfing. She had a great appreciation for the outdoors.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
At Deanna’s request there will be no funeral visitation or service. Cremation with interment in the family plot at Park Lawn Cemetery. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
