HEALE, John 'Jack' - Passed away at Sunnyside Home For The Aged, Kitchener, Sunday, January 3, 2010. John Heale former husband of Teresa Arbour in his 88th year. Dearly loved father of John (Maureen) of Nashville, Nancy Villeneuve (Claude) of Sudbury, Leslie Heale of Toronto and Stephanie Allison (Bill) of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by seven grandchildren, Holly, Thomas, Mary, Andrew, John, Colin and RJ and five great grandchildren. Dear brother of George (Laura), Bill (Helen), Gordon (Lynn) and Rosemarie (Roy). John will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Rose and William Heale and a brother, Lorne. John was Director of Maintenance at St. Joseph's Hospital for 30 years. He proudly served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War and was a Royal Canadian Legion member. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed living on Pine Lake for many years. John was very involved in his community throughout his life. Family receiving friends at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Royal Canadian Legion Service Friday at 3 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Name of Jesus Church, Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation ,Sunnyside Home Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
