HERRINGTON, Donald

In loving memory of Donald “Don” Edward Herrington 93 years. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 at St. Gabriel’s Villa with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Jean Elizabeth (nee Jack) predeceased in 1999. Loving father of Louise (John deLagran) of Peterborough, Michael (Danielle) of Sudbury, and Kathryn Deano Sanchioni) of Chilliwack. Dear grandfather of Jennifer and Paul deLagran, Mathieu, Stefan, and Eric Herrington, Kristen Sanchioni Psihogias, Zachary, Brandon, and Bradly Sanchioni. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren. Brother of Audrey McDonnell predeceased. Don graduated as a CGA, retiring from Vale. He enjoyed spending time at his hobby farm outside Webbwood, woodworking, following his grandson’s hockey teams, golfing, spending winters in Florida and visiting his family. He will be sadly missed. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Gabriel’s Villa for taking such good care of Don. Also, thank you to Finlandia Village where Don was a resident for almost 20 years. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with entombment in the Civic Cemetery alongside his wife. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
