HOLDITCH, Pearl

October 24, 2021 100 years old

Holditch, Pearl (1)

It is with sad hearts we say goodbye to our mother, Pearl (Behenna) Holditch, on Sunday, October 24th, 2021, at the tender age of 100 years. Born in Creighton Mine on March 16th, 1921 to Mildred and James Behenna (both predeceased). Dear sister of Marguerite Watson (predeceased). Pearl married Walter Holditch (predeceased 1988) and they had three children: Douglas Holditch (Janice), Ronald Holditch (predeceased 1967), and Janice Cameron (Daniel). She adored her grandchildren: Darren Holditch (Lynn), Leighann Gattoni (Brent), of Guelph, Brent Cameron (Alicia), and James Cameron (Kayleen) of Ottawa, and her great-grandchildren Chayse Gattoni, Branden Holditch, Nathan and Jackson Cameron, and many nieces and nephews. Pearl enjoyed her time spent with Walter at their camp, and on several wonderful trips with her sister and friends.

We wish to thank the following: the staff of St. Joseph’s Villa, Sunnyside Wing, for your outstanding care of Mom with compassion, dignity, humour, and music. The halls will seem quiet without her; to Judy Lennox for your love and devotion to Mom over the last few years; and to Nancy: “I may sometimes forget the words, but I always remember the tune.” – Graycie Harmon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Joseph’s Villa or All Nations Church. In keeping with Mom’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A private family graveside service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home. For donations and messages of condolence, www.lougheedfuneralhomes.com.
