Deborah Johnson
January 25, 1954 – January 15, 2023
Debbie passed away peacefully Sunday at Health Sciences North. Born in Toronto to Robert and Muriel Watson both predeceased. Sister to Adelle, Marsha, Catherine, Bob, and Rick predeceased. Dearly loved by her husband Lorne Johnson and her children Bruce Johnson (wife Terri-Lyn) and Cherie-Dee Bonhomme (husband Vincent) and her grandchildren Lilliana, Ivy, Raine, Ember, Abigail, Miles, and Spencer. Debbie loved spending time with her family. Late night chats over cups of tea, laughter and good conversation filled her heart. Was a wonderful cook who loved creating delicious meals for her family and friends. Debbie’s kind and caring spirit and positive attitude was contagious. She loved fiercely and would do anything she could to make you happy and comfortable, always putting the needs of others first. Her proudest accomplishment was her marriage and the family that came from that love. She adored the innocence and wonderment of childhood. With a little sprinkle of mischief, she always made things fun and was the best mom you could ever ask for. She was a gift from God and will be sadly missed. We take comfort in the knowledge that she was a child of God, whom she loved, and is at peace and without pain in Heaven in the loving arms of Jesus. At Debbie’s request, there will be no funeral visitation or service. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pregnancy Care Center and Infant Food Bank would be appreciated.
