JONES, Patrick John Fitzgerald - In loving memory of Patrick John Fitzgerald Jones. It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Patrick on September 1st, 2011 at the Sudbury Laurentian Hospital at the age of 50. Patrick was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario on March 20th, 1961. Beloved son of Margaret Schlaepfer of Wales and John Jones (deceased) of Wales. Devoted loving partner of Gail Grigsby. Dear brother of Tracy and Andrea both of Vancouver. Loving father of Rodney (Sheena) and Amanda (Sonny) and Lance (Karen). Cherished grandfather of Jayden, Christian, Jordan and Devin. Dear nephew of Irene Fitzgerald, Beryl and Les Griffiths, Pat and Aubrey Moss, Jacqueline (deceased) and Ian Cox, all in Wales. Dear son-in-law of Aurora (Alfred), brother-in-law of Lloyd and Joanne. Loving “brother from another mother“, Ron Johnson. Loving Godfather to Melissa Collin. Will also be missed by a very close family friend, Alice McGowan. Also will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Will be missed forever by all who loved and knew him. In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind in memory of Thunder and Max.
