KALMO, Jacqueline (née Bisaillon)
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing at HSN, surrounded by her family, on December 5, 2024 at the age of 92 years. Wife of the late Peter Kalmo. Daughter of the late Laurent and Émilia (née Auger) Bisaillon. Devoted mother of Gary (Johanne Francoeur), Richard (Joanne Dugas), Wayne, Marilyn (Bill Ettinger) and Sherry (Michael McGuire). Cherished grandmother of Nancy, Lory Ann, Peter, Jesse, Andrea, Lisa Marie, Kayla, Cheryse, D.J., Alexis and great-grandmother of Connor, Chloe, Bryce, Kai, Mason, Demi, Conan, Kira, Lily, Loïc, Athena, Tessa, Andre, Reed, Cora and Mila.
Jacqueline’s passing leaves a deep, irreplaceable void in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, but they find comfort in the cherished memories and the enduring love they shared. Her legacy of love, faith, and generosity will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a strong source of support and encouragement, always ready to offer a helping hand or share wise advice.
She demonstrated the best qualities—unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an endless selflessness toward her children and grandchildren, evident in the care and support she provided through both their joys and struggles.
Faith was the foundation of her life. She was deeply devoted to her religion, a loyal member of the Society of the Little Flower. Her unwavering belief in the power of prayer brought comfort to many and uplifted those in need.
With her vibrant clothing, beautiful hair, and creative fashion sense, Jacqueline was a joyful presence. Her bright personality and deep love for her family and friends filled her home with warmth and kindness.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 10 a.m. at the Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Thérèse.
