It is with heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Eeva Kamarainen 91 years, at Finlandia Hoivakoti Nursing Home. Born in Finland. Daughter of the late Saimi (nee Kankaanpaa) and Eino Ylinen. Dear wife of Heimo Kamarainen (predeceased). Loving mother of Marja-Liisa Kinos (Erkki Kinos) and Kari Kamarainen (Carolyn). Dear grandmother (mumma) of Erik Massone and Tessa Widdifield (Zach). Great-grandmother (mumma)to Lincoln and Scarlett. Sadly missed by many friends. Eeva’s Finnish roots gave her the “Sisu” of a hardworking homemaker and seamstress. She loved to garden and enjoyed blueberry picking in the summer. As per Eeva’s wishes, there will be no service or visitation. A private interment in the family plot will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Parklawn Cremation Services.
