KASUNICH, Gilberte Therese (nee Larose) - In loving memory of Gilberte Therese Kasunich (nee Larose), born August 4, 1950 in Sudbury who peacefully passed away on September 6th at the HRSRH-Laurentian site with her loving family at her side. Loving daughter of the late Aldege Larose and of Lucille Larose (nee Michaud) (friend Fred). Beloved wife, partner and best friend to Durward (Dave) and proud and caring mother of Sheley Kasunich-Ahmed (husband Junayd and Junebug), and Sharlene Kasunich-Young (husband Tim and Timbit). Dearest sister of Donny (wife Carol), Diane (husband Alfred), Anita (husband Alex) and Rachel (husband Willie). Aunty Bett will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and long time friend Jocelyn. Although she pursued baseball in her teens, entered into the ringette and hockey arena for her two daughters. However her greatest passion was golf with “GIRLS“. A dedicated employee for Nexus and her organization skills will be sadly missed. Gilberte was devoted to her loving family and was happiest in their company. She will always be lovingly remembered. Memorial Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Wednesday September 9th, 2009 at 11:30am. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. (Friends may gather in the chapel after 11am Wednesday).
