KOZMA, James (Jim) - Beloved husband of Norma, and in her presence, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2010 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Born in Lestock, Saskatchewan on October 31, 1923 to Ethel and Steven Kozma. Predeceased by his parents, his sister Ann and his brother Ernie. Jim is survived by his wife, brothers Joe (Alice) and George (Kay) Kozma of Valleyview, Alberta and their families. Also loved by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Dorothy and Charles Tuttle, Victor (Marion, deceased) Sinclair, and Mac & Carolyn Sinclair, all of Sudbury as well as Jim and Donna Sinclair of North Bay. He was a great “Uncle Jim“ to many nieces and nephews and their families; Roxanne (Don) Young, Carolyn (Philip) Mulligan, Pam (deceased) Andrews (wife of Austin), Beth Hreljac (Garry),Allyson (Marc) Turgeon, Heidi ( Craig ) Jordan, Kirk (Anne) Sinclair, Ian (Sara) Sinclair, James Sinclair and David (Joan), Andy and Tracy Sinclair. He was “like an uncle“ to Tom (Bonita) Tulloch of London, England and Angus (Annie) Tulloch of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Jim was a Veteran of World War II, afterwards serving as a member of the Sudbury Police Force. He was employed for 25 years as an Industrial Training Consultant with the Ministry of Colleges and Universities in Sudbury and Peterborough until his retirement in 1983. Special appreciation to Social Worker Gail Pacey, staff on 3B Nursing Station and Dr. Chan. The family acknowledges with deep thanks the loving care of Leta and George Reid and other neighbours. Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held in Sudbury, Ontario in the Spring. Memorial Donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Victorian Order of Nurses or charity of choice would be appreciated.
