June 10th, 1989 – September 11th, 2020. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Matthew Joseph Pierre Lachapelle. Beloved son of Lise Lachapelle (nee Lafreniere). Dear brother of Richard and Christopher. He will be sadly missed by his grandparents Leo (predeceased) & Jeannine Lafreniere as well as his many aunts and uncles, Daniel & Diane, Nicole & Gilbert, Monique & Marc (predeceased), Monique & Dave and many cousins. He will also be sadly missed by many friends, especially Mike Carrey.
Funeral Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch Street, Sudbury) Tuesday, September 22nd, 2020 at 2pm. Friends may gather at the funeral home after 1pm on Tuesday. Donations to the Elgin Street Mission would be appreciated by the family. Due to COVID-19 Pandemic directives, 50 people or fewer are permitted in the visitation room, and 80 or fewer in the chapel. Face masks are mandatory.
