LAGRANDEUR, Gérard “Gerry“ - The family announces with sorrow, his peaceful death, surrounded by his loving family, Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the age of 68 years. Son of the late Henri and of the late Laura (née Gauthier) Lagrandeur. Beloved friend of Patricia McBride. Loving father of Normand Lagrandeur, Louise Langlois (Benoit) and Claude Lagrandeur (Nicole) and step-father to Sean Bell (Jennifer) and Crystal Bell. Also survived by the mother of his children, Doris Lagrandeur. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Chanelle Langlois (Lee Pepin), Justine Langlois, Natasha Larocque, Sophie, Benjamin, Oliver and Shay Bell and his great-grandchild Cael Pepin. Dear brother of Aimé (late Georgette), Denis (Helen), Jacques (Cécile), Conrad (Diane), Marcel (Françoise), Henri Jr. (Germaine), Richard (Angèle), Daniel (Monique), André (Nicole), Henriette Lemieux (Léonard), Reverend Sister Jacqueline , f.d.l.s. , Diane Trudeau (Rolland), Carmen Léger, Madelaine Duguay (Edouard), Gisèle St-Denis (Allen), Lucille Lafontaine (René) and Marie-Claire Faiola (Dave). Predeceased by his brother René (Alice) and his sister Rachelle Carrière (Jean ). Lovingly remembered by many friends and relatives. Gérard was at his best when with his loving family who will miss him dearly. He was an avid fisherman also enjoying trapping and blueberry picking. He will also be remembered for his many hours volunteering at the Sudbury Food Bank. Donations (by cheque only) to the Sudbury Food Bank would be appreciated.
