In loving memory of Kaarina Laine
With many tears and heavy hearts the family announce the passing of Kaarina Laine, age 76, on July 5, 2020 at Health Sciences North with loving family by her side.
Beloved wife of Taisto who were married 55 years. Cherished mother to Tanja (Jan), Heidi (John), and Maria (Steve). Loving grandmother to Ben, Anna, Lars, Mattias, Katriina, and Eliisa. Daughter of Arvi and Mertta Vainio (predeceased) and nine siblings.
Kaarina was born on August 16, 1943 in Veteli, Finland. She and Taisto moved to Canada in 1966 and started a family. She was a woman who loved God and served the church faithfully. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed time at camp and in nature. Her good hearted personality allowed her to eagerly try new things and enjoy the wonders of life. She was kind, caring, and generous and will be greatly missed.
