LANDRY-LANCTOT, Eva (née Rivette) - The family announces with sorrow, her death at her residence in Val Thérèse, Monday, August 22, 2011 at the age of 70 years. Daughter of the late Edmond and the late Alberta (née Labelle) Rivette. Beloved wife of Omé Landry of Val Thérèse. Loving mother of Jean Lanctot (Debbie), Jacques Jack Lanctot (Sharon), Collette Caza (Daniel) all from Hanmer, Hélène Charette (Pierre) of Val Caron and step-mother to Michelle Landry (Normand Portelance) of Capreol, Marc Landry and Guy Landry (Melissa) both of Val Thérèse. Dear sister of Thérèse St-Onge (François), Yvette Villeneuve, Raymond Rivette (Ghyslaine), André Rivette (Suzanne), Rolland Rivette (Mary), Michel Rivette (Claire), Edgar Rivette, Jacqueline Leduc (Marcel) and Hélène Legui (Brian) all from Cornwall, François Rivette (Andréa Brennan) of Moose Creek and Suzanne Nicholson (Charlie) of Hanmer. Predeceased by her 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Sadly missed by 18 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Eva, known to many as the woman with the golden heart will be remembered for having supported many local charities, organizations, food banks, fundraisers, etc. She was the owner and operator with her husband Omé of Eva Lanctot Realty Limited in Val Thérèse. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570, St-Joseph Street, Hanmer, Thursday, August 25, 2011 from 2- 5 and 7-9:30 p.m. A private family service will be held Friday.
