LANDRY, Mathias - In Loving Memory of the late Mathias Landry, 89 years,who was born January 22, 1920, and passed away on September 5, 2009. Predeceased by parents Felix Landry and Christine Erdman. Beloved husband of 68 years to Jeannette (nee Hubert). Loving father of Lucille (Jack Mc Farlane) of Garson, Ray predeceased (Marilyn) of Alban, Ron (Claire) of Lively, Rick (Karen) of Garson, Linda Lacombe (Stan predeceased) of Alban, Reg (Connie) of Calgary, Bob (Lewisse) of Sudbury and Donald (Mary Lou) of Alban. Mathias leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Brother of Germaine (Ernie Pharand) predeceased, Delia (Laurence Larocque) predeceased, Armand (Rita) predeceased, Remi (Cecile), Eddie (Joyce), Jett (Lucy), Angie (Ray), Claire (Romeo), Lucille, Rena (Richer) and Zephire, predeceased. Mathias was employed at INCO for 32 years. A talented musician, Mathias enjoyed playing the violin. He loved the outdoors and was also an excellent carpenter, spending many happy hours in his workshop. At Mathias' request, there was a private family prayer service held at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury on Monday, September 7, 2009. Cremation.
