It is with great sadness that the family of Victor William Larsen announces his peaceful passing on Wednesday September 9th, 2020 at the beautiful age of 95. Victor will be reunited with the love of his life, Vera (Edwards) Larsen, where their happily ever after will continue for eternity. Victor will be lovingly missed by his children, Wendy (Larsen) Hallett (Wayne), and Peter Larsen (Rita), Robert Larsen (deceased). Victor will be sorely missed by his grandchildren, Christopher Burgdorf (Sarah), Sarah (Burgdorf) Gladu (Don), Tiija (Larsen) Luttrell (Dan), and Danielle (Jones) Lauzon (Marc), Shawntell Larsen (deceased), Robyn (Larsen) (partner Cody)."G-pa" will always be remembered by his eight amazing great-grandchildren, Addison, Paige, Lia, Nikko, Emmi, McKenzie, Mya, and Harper. Vic, with his crystal blue eyes, lived an amazing life. He served in the Second World War, survived cancer, enjoyed building and loved to golf and curl. His greatest accomplishments and joys in life, came from watching his family grow, laugh, cry, cook, and most importantly love. As per Victor's request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th, 2020 at 11am at the Park Lawn Cemetery. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 564 Lockerby would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
