Joseph moved from Germany in 1952 as a licenced cabinet maker. He spent hours in his workshops creating a variety of furniture and cabinets. With his most prized accomplishment, being his 25 foot sail boat. In addition, he loved spending time with his family at the camp he built on Manitoulin Island. He worked as a millwright for INCO for 30 years before retiring. In his retirement, he was an avid wood carver, having participated in numerous competitions. Also, loved sharing this passion with others at the Older Adult Centre. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour, and practical jokes.

We would like to thank Dr. Theresa Mirka and her staff for years of great care. He thought highly of you all.
