LAVALLIE, Lennox - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Friday, August 21, 2009 at the age of 82 years. Son of the late Urban and of the late Olive (nee Malone) Lavallie. Beloved husband of Olive Lavallie (nee Gignac) of Sudbury. Loving father of Shirley Proulx (Denis) of Sault-Ste-Marie, Susan Larose (Michael), Philip Lavallie (Brenda Madden), David Lavallie (Laura) and Joseph Lavallie (Lisa Jelley) all of Sudbury and Gary Lavallie (Muriel) of Val Caron. Dear brother of Terry Wickham (late Red) of Val Caron, Sheila Stacey (late Art) of Chapeau Qc, Esther Turner (Fred) of North Bay and Carmelita Stevens of Smooth Rock Falls. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Rita MacDonald (late Gerald), Velma Law (late Robert), Edreina Gray (late Cecil), Chester Lavallie, Emmett Lavallie (late Marian) and Eunice Bechamp. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jennifer, Marc, Jason, Alishia, Lara, Amy, Christina, Amanda, Jamie, Joshua, Nathan, Candace and by his great grandchildren Jaylen, Noah, Isabella, Mercedez, Erin and Brittany. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Falconbridge Extendicare (2nd Floor) for their excellent care and compassion. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO- OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre Dame), Sudbury, Friday, August 28th, 2009 after 10 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury.
