LE BORGNE, André Louis (Andy) - On January 1, 2010 after a battle with cancer, passed away at Sudbury Regional Hospital Laurentian Site at the age of 74. He is survived by his loving wife Lorraine of 54 years, children Laura (Steven Fuller) of Toronto, Marcia Gordon (Paul), of Wasaga Beach, Catherine of Sudbury, Andrea (Ian Mitchell) of Salt Spring Island, BC, and Steven André of Toronto. He will be missed by his grandson Kevin Franolla (Marnie) and great granddaughter Maija Nadine Franolla of Ottawa and step-grandson Jordon Mitchell-Fuller of Toronto. Also survived by siblings Yves Le Borgne (Gene) of Sudbury and Madeleine Allen (Greg) of Lively and many extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Jean-Louis and Louise Le Borgne, sister Germaine Kidd and brother Frank. André was born April 28 1935 and raised in Copper Cliff. Andy became well known in the Copper Cliff, Lively and Sudbury areas during his 30 year career with Copper Cliff Dairy as a milkman, supervisor and co-owner. He was a long- time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 224 Copper Cliff where he served as President from 2001-2002. André will be remembered for his sense of humour and be sadly missed by family and friends. At the request of the family there will be no visitation or service.
