In the afternoon of October 1, 2021, C.W. Leclair of Chelmsford, ON died at the age of 46 (May 27, 1975) after a short, courageous battle with cancer. C.W. became an automotive mechanic in 2008 and had been working as a class A mechanic at Canadian Tire in Chelmsford for over ten years. In his spare time, C.W. enjoyed playing guitar, listening to loud music and spending time with friends at church in the garage. He was well known for his sense of humor and contagious laughter amongst family and friends.

C.W. will be forever missed by his only child, Kaylee Leclair, to whom he referred to as his “Bubbaloo”. Together they enjoyed hanging out, playing guitar and singing, bowling on the xbox, and going for long car rides. C.W. also enjoyed watching Kaylee horseback ride at lessons and horse shows.

C.W. will be greatly missed by his girlfriend, Lise Gravelle, her children Amy, Guy (Chantal), Marc (Tija) and her grandchildren AJ, Eila and Oliver, with whom he shared a special bond.

C.W. is also survived by his parents, Cleo and Debbie Leclair, his sister Angele Lapierre (Guy), nephews Caleb and Jacob. He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A special thank you to the paramedics, Emergency Department and the staff of the 4th floor south tower at Health Sciences North.

At C.W.’s request, there will be no funeral service held. He will be laid to rest with his predeceased grandparents “Maw and Paw” (Alice and William Young) at the Chelmsford cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Health Sciences North or the Northeast Cancer Centre in honor of C.W.
