LECLAIR, Doreen

It is with profound sadness and love that the family of Doreen Leclair announces her death on Saturday, January 9th, 2021 at Pioneer Manor at the age of 97.

Predeceased by her husband Aldege, her sisters Carina and Pamela, her brothers Evans and Raymond. She is survived by her daughter Dianne Leclair of Sudbury and her son Dennis of Kelowna, B.C. Loving grandmother of Melissa Leroux, predeceased by her grandson Darren Lye. She has 3 great grandchildren, Ethan, Avery and Leah Leroux. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and could easily handle a tiller and a lawn mower. She also took great pride in her flower and vegetable gardens.

We would like to especially thank the staff of York Wing at Pioneer Manor. What wonderful, caring and compassionate people. Thanks also to her best friend Seija Pigeon of Lively who gave lovingly of her time in helping mom throughout her life and being there for her in her times of need. Until further notice, there will be no service. Since she loved animals, donations to Pet Save would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
