LECOMPTE, Conrad - (1930-2010) - The family announces with sorrow his death in Sturgeon Falls, Saturday January 23 2010, at the age of 79 years. Son of the late Armand Lecompte and of the late Gracia (née Roberge) Lecompte. Loving husband of Germaine (née Villeneuve) Lecompte of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of Nicole Charron (Jacques) of Garson, Luc Lecompte (Leigh) of Hanmer and Lynn Pagé (Yvon) of Témiscaming, Québec. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren David, Jérémie, Adam, Christopher, Joey, Christine, Nicole, Roseanne as well as by his great grandson Jacob. Also survived by his sisters Desneiges Charron (late Gérald) of Kanata, Berthe Lipari (late Vincent) of Montréal, Claire Comeau (late Georges) of Hamilton, Denise Beauparlant (Guy) of Verner and by his brother Arthur (Denise) of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by one brother Léo (late Claudette) and one sister Lillianne Lecompte. Conrad was retired from Inco and was previously employed as a mechanic at Sudbury Motors. The family will receive friends after 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 30 2010 in Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 1:30.
