It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Maman, Simone Lepage (nee Bergeron).  She passed away peacefully at Pioneer Manor on Monday Aug 22, 2022 in her 90th year.  She had been struggling with Alzheimer’s for many years. She is predeceased by her loving husband Rene Lepage, of 67 years, and her brother Joseph Bergeron and her sister Therese Labelle.  She leaves behind her 4 children: Raymond (Carol), Lise (Jim) Michel (Marjorie) and Julie (Gary).  Also her 5 grand children: Chantal, Nicholas, Justin, Luc and Kevin.  And her 2 precious great grand children Barron and Beya Blue.  She is survived by her sister Florianne Lacelle and many nieces and nephews. Mom was a stay-at-home mom for many years, and she did an amazing job.  She had many talents, she knitted, she sewed and she was a fantastic cook.  She will forever be known as the "sucre a creme" lady! She was such a giving lady, and she volunteered for many years. She volunteered at Notre-Dame de la Merci Paroisse in Coniston and also at the Laurentian Hospital.  She created and was the director of the Knitting Committee of the Laurentian Auxiliary and was honored for her many years of service.  She also spent many years at Pioneer Manor helping to take care of her own mother and also helping out which ever way she could. We are happy that she will now be reunited with our father.  She was an angel, and now she will be our guardian angel forever. Special thanks to Terry and Laura and all the amazing staff at Pioneer Manor Trillium Floor.  Donations can be made to Pioneer Manor, 3rd floor Trillium. Please join us for mass and a celebration of life at Sainte-Anne-des-Pins on Saturday October 29, 2022 at 11am.  Light refreshment will be served.  A private burial will be held after.
