It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sam Lolas at the age of 57 on July 11, 2021.  Sam was born in Sudbury on August 13, 1963 to Sam Lolas (predeceased) and Catherine Lolas.  He married the love of his life Mona-Marie (nee Raymond) in 1987. He is survived by his sons Kevin (Telicia) and Derrick (Tatyana).  Cherished brother of Steven Lolas and Tess Lolas (Duncan). Special son-in-law of Ken and Marlene Raymond and brother-in-law of Karrie-Ann and Dean Dalpe. Loving Uncle to Jonathan and Katie Page, Aidan (Tiffany) and Ethan Dalpe.
One of his greatest joys in life were his grand-daughters, Natalya, Annalee and Ava. Many memories were made at the cottage on Agnew Lake.   Sam always put his family and friends first, he was always there to provide support. Sam was an accomplished and well-respected CA and was a Senior partner at Freelandt Caldwell Reilly for many years.  He was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf and Pittsburgh Steeler’s fan.  Sam was actively involved in coaching both of his son’s hockey teams.  He thoroughly enjoyed being able to participate in that part of their lives.
Visitation to be held at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Prayers to be held at 7:00 pm Thursday.  Funeral Service is to be held at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 486 Ester Road, at 11:00 am on Friday, July 16, 2021.  Interment to follow at Civic Memorial Cemetery.
