MACLEOD, Leda

The family announces with great sorrow in our hearts the passing of Leda Elza Monticelli MacLeod, March 30, 2021 at the age of 57. Loving wife of Darcy MacLeod and caring gentle mother to Miranda MacLeod (Ben St. Marseille) and Melanie MacLeod (Tyler Sinclair). Daughter to Danilo Monticelli (predeceased) and Colleen Carty. Stepdaughter of Mary Monticelli. Sister of Dennis Monticelli (Betty), Marisa Robertson (Steve), Lara Muscolino (Vince), and Danny Monticelli (Jane). Daughter-in-law of Walter MacLeod (predeceased) and Joan.  Leda was loved and will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and very close friends. Leda graduated from Wilfred Laurier University to go on to a successful 30-year career in radio with Rogers recently retiring. Leda loved and was loved by so many good friends at Rogers over the years. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel and will be available via livestream. (see funeral home website for information). Leda was loved and will be missed by many.
