MADDEN, Jacqueline

Jacqueline (Jacquie) Ann Madden (nee Lemieux), 70 years old, of Timmins, Ontario passed away peacefully holding her daughter’s hand on Friday October 29th, 2021.

Jacquie is survived by her only daughter Sarah (Kyle), her mother Marjorie, her brother Leonard (Dorothy) their three kids Rebecca, Serena, and Ashley. Beloved sister of Christine, Derek (Heidi) and Tina. Jacquie lived her life to the fullest; she was blunt, funny and most of all: reliable. She raised her daughter in Sudbury with her grandmother, Viola Bertrand (predeceased). She loved the beach, travelling the world, and her TV shows. She will be sadly missed by friends and family.

Sarah would like to extend her deepest thanks to the nurses/staff at Health Sciences North, the LIHN team, the Bayshore nurses (Kristy), and most of all her two best friends Samantha and Ashley who took on a tremendous amount of work to ensure Jacquie was as comfortable as possible in her final days.

There will be a Celebration of Life, at Jacquie’s request, on Sunday November 21st, 2021, from 4pm until 8pm. Drop-ins are encouraged at the following address: 1790 Paris Street, apartment 501 in Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, please direct any donations to Health Sciences North.
