In Loving Memory of Gerald “Gerry” Maisonneuve, 78 years, who passed away with loving family by his side on Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Elizabeth Centre in Val Caron. Beloved husband for almost 50 years of Pauline Maisonneuve (nee Ouimet). Loving father of Carole Maisonneuve and Gerard “Buck” Maisonneuve. Cherished grandfather of Logan Maisonneuve. Dear bother of Jean Provincial, Gertrude Furlong (Bud Furlong – predeceased), Lorne Maisonneuve – predeceased (Jeannette), and Robert Maisonneuve – predeceased. Gerry will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Born in River Valley to the late Arthur and Amanda (nee Savage) Maisonneuve. Gerry retired as a custodian after 26 dedicated years with the Conseil scolaire public du Grand Nord de l’Ontario (CSPGNO). Gerry’s favourite place to be was at his camp at Green Bay Lodge, making memories with family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Jakelski and all the staff at the Elizabeth Centre for their care and compassion. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
