In Loving Memory of Daniel “Dan” Joseph Laurent Malleau
February 22, 1942 - September 29, 2020
Passed away at Health Sciences North in Sudbury at the age of 78.
Cherished husband of Cheryl Malleau. Beloved father of Ian, Lee-Ann, Gary, Marty, Mark and Alicia. Treasured grandfather of many grandchildren. Predeceased by father Narcisse Malleau and mother Lorette Malleau, brothers Jerome and Victor, and sister Mildred. He is survived by sisters Isabel, Colleen and Norma. Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and friends.
Dan was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and a dearly loved leader in his community of family and friends. He was passionate about the outdoors and spending time fishing, golfing, creating, cooking and sharing stories with the people he loved. His humour entertained countless people over the years, and his generous hospitality was well-known. He will be deeply missed by all.
Due to COVID restrictions, a celebration of life will be scheduled when it is safe to gather and honour Dan’s legacy.
Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation in his memory would be greatly appreciated.
