MANNISTO, Mauno Olavi - In loving memory of Mauno Olavi Mannisto 71 years of age, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 9th, 2009 at Finlandia Village in Sudbury. Beloved son of Viljo and Laimi Mannisto both predeceased. Loving brother of Anneli (Leo Viljanmaa) of Whitefish and Anelma (Sulevi Sarkioja) of Worthington. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews; Helen, Margit, Henry, Markus, Matti, Kari and their families. Born in Kurikka, Finland, Mauno moved to Canada in 1956. He was a hard worker, never complained and was always very considerate of others. He enjoyed his tea and coffee, shopping and visiting with family. Mauno will be lovingly remembered as kind and gentle soul who saw the good in life even during adversity. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Finlandia Village, where Mauno lived for many years, for their wonderful friendship and care. Memorial Service at the Finlandia Village Chapel Sunday, September 13th, 2009 at 2pm. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Finlandia Village would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.
