MARQUIS, Gaston “Gus“ - In loving memory of Gaston Marquis, 61 years, who lost his courageous battle with cancer on Monday, September 7, 2009 at Sudbury Regional Hospital (St.Joseph's Health Centre). Gaston is survived by his loving wife Francine (née Dubois). Beloved son of Reginald and Pauline (née Angers), both predeceased. Loving father of Cindy Lewis (Jamie) of Dowling and Danny (Michelle) of Whitefish. Dear brother of Ghislain (Giselle) of Amos, Rejean (Micheline) of Montreal and France (André, predeceased) Charette of Sudbury. Cherished pepère of Briana, Samantha, Preston, Alec, Cassandra and Kierra. Gaston will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Born in Rivière-Bleu and raised in Amos, Quebec, Gaston was a very generous, likeable, and personable man who will be remembered for being a hard worker and a deep love for his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO- OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd., E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 10:30 p.m. in St-Jean-de-Brébeuf Church, Sudbury.
