Dianne McDonell, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished member of the Onaping Falls community, passed away on Thursday, December 21st, 2023. She was born on June 8, 1943, and is now reunited with her predeceased husband, William McDonell.

Dianne was a loving and devoted mother to Fancy McDonell (John), Cheri Moen (Donald), and Misty Spinks (Rohin). She took great joy in her role as a grandmother to Brandon, Brooklyn, Cody, and Carlie, and her love for them was evident in every moment they shared.

As a sister, Dianne was a cornerstone of her family, supporting and enriching the lives of Carolyn Beaudin (Jr.), Lloyd Beaudin (Philis), Guy Beaudin (Paula), and Jay Beaudin. Their bond was unbreakable, and Dianne's presence will be deeply missed.

Dianne was a devoted friend to Jeanie Card, creating lasting memories and sharing the joys of life with a kindred spirit. Together, they navigated the ups and downs, leaving a lasting mark each other's hearts.

Dianne's vibrant spirit extended to her community involvement, where she became a recognized and respected member of the Onaping Falls community. Her warm heart and willingness to help others made a lasting impact on those around her.

Known for her storytelling prowess, Dianne had an uncanny ability to captivate audiences with her tales. Her infectious laughter and lively anecdotes created lasting memories for all who were fortunate enough to hear them. Dianne also had a passion for curling, showcasing both skill and sportsmanship on the ice.

A true sports enthusiast, Dianne could often be found cheering for her favorite teams while watching a variety of sports on TV. Her enthusiasm added an extra layer of excitement to every game. In addition to her love for sports, Dianne was an avid Bingo player, finding joy in the camaraderie and friendly competition the game offered.

One of Dianne's unique joys was her love for Nintendo and Mario. She spent countless hours immersed in the world of gaming, finding joy and excitement in every level. Her passion for gaming not only brought her personal enjoyment but also connected her with others who shared the same interest.

Dianne McDonell leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a passion for life. While we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the indelible mark she left on our lives. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those who were fortunate enough to know and cherish her.

A private ceremony to honor Dianne's life will be held at a later date, in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Easter Seals in Dianne's memory.
