Lawrence (Larry) McHattie, born in Peterborough, Ontario, was pre-deceased by his parents. Larry passed peacefully but suddenly of acute illness on May 7th 2020 at Health Sciences North in Sudbury Ontario. He left this world without pain and suffering...unfortunately, simply too young, but with loved ones at his side. He is survived by his pride and joy: his one son Wesley McHattie, whom is world revolved around.  He is also survived by a plethora of close friends who became family. Larry was retired from a long and fruitful career in sales with a national company. He worked part time at The Rock Harley-Davidson in sales, as motorcycles, riding, people and selling was his passion. Larry was super social, with a wide range of friends, close and far, from a lifetime of joking, laughing and being the life of the party. Larry was very active in the Lion’s Club in Sudbury, dedicating every Saturday to calling porketta bingo, spreading laughs and jokes (as usual) throughout the community. Larry could always be counted upon for a laugh, a hug, a smile, and support to anyone who knew him. He was a great man and the best father a son could ask for and was taken from the world too soon....but in peace and in a better place now.
Rest in Peace, amazing man...rest in peace Larry.
