July 29, 2009 90

MCKENNEY, Harvey E. - In Loving Memory of Harvey E. McKenney. Passed away at SRH-St. Joseph's Health Centre, Monday evening, July 27, 2009. Harvey was in his 90th year. He was predeceased by his parents Simon and Edith McKenney of Trout Creek, Ontario and his wife Katherine (Connor). Harvey is survived by his only brother Ken (Terry Sheldrake) of Callander, Ontario. He will be proudly missed by nieces Tammy Weedmark (Jim) and Heather Stanley (Derrick) and also great niece Alex and great nephews Mike, Zach and Chase. Harvey McKenney was also a special uncle to Kay's nieces and nephews of Kingwood Texas, Saskatoon, Sask., Vancouver Island, B.C., Charlotte, North Carolina and Hamilton, On. Harvey retired as a Regional Operator for Ontario Hydro over 25 years ago and since then worked many years at Science North in Sudbury as a volunteer with his wife Kay. The two of them also went on various trips, seeing the other side of the ocean several times. All of the family will remember Harvey's kind and generous ways, always there to offer quiet advice and help. Just a short time ago Harvey received his 50 year Masonic pin, a Shriner for many years he enjoyed playing the musette in the Oriental Band. In place of flowers, donations to the Shriner's Hospital would be appreciated, a cause Harvey was extremely proud of. Harvey was a good man with an inquiring mind, always seeking for answers, firm in his faith, considerate in voicing his opinions, determined if he felt things were not right. A loyal and true friend.
